London’s flagship international dance festival, Dance Umbrella, is set to take place from October 11 – 28, featuring a jam-packed schedule of performers from across the globe.

Hosted at various venues throughout the capital, Dance Umbrella will see Paris-based duo Satchie Noro and Silvain Ohl open the festival with ’Origami’: a visually arresting show performed in a 40ft shipping container. The first performance takes place at Battersea Power Station, before making stops across London. Issues like womanhood are explored in Olivier-nominated Rocío Molina’s new work, ‘Fallen From Heaven (Caída del Cielo)’, performed at the Barbican Theatre; while choreographer Charlotte Spencer and her team of dancers and artists invites audiences to rethink how they value their landscape, homes and communities, with ‘Is This A Waste Land?’

Tickets are available now. For the full schedule, head to the Dance Umbrella website.
