London is getting its first dedicated sparkling wine bar, as Fiz begins a summer residency at light art gallery, Lights of Soho.

Running over the course of 10 weeks, Fiz is inspired by Barcelona’s backstreet cava bars – offering a concise list of eight to 10 bottles also available by the glass, all at accessible prices. The list features Italian proseccos, Spanish cava, a selection of award-winning English sparkling wines, and lesser known options from Portugal and Austria. Guests can even sample sparkling red wines alongside bar bites from London-based producers, including Cheeses of Muswell Hill and meat and charcuterie from Butcher’s Block, Peckham.

Every weekend until the end of the residency, Fiz is hosting brunch with bottomless bottles priced at £22 per person, while breakfast dishes of watermelon with mint and lime; poached egg muffins; buttermilk pancakes and avocado yoghurt pots are served.
